Proverbs written by Solomon inspired by GOD.
As we read the Bible we understand that GOD speaks to HIS children & not slaves. "Do not forget" = because we so easily forget.
The 1st thing we forget is GOD's commandments.
We don't forget what others tell us wrong things but we forget what GOD tells us we easily forget.
JESUS's solution to that was - John 14:26 the Holy Spirit will bring all these things into remembrance.
Valuable things kept in the most secure place in your heart. Only GOD's word can keep our hearts right.
The heart is the 1st thing that goes away from GOD.
Heb 9:4
4 having a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden jar holding the manna, and Aaron's rod which budded, and the tables of the covenant;
Good way to understand proverbs is replace 'wisdom' with 'JESUS'.
He is talking about the wisdom found in the Cross.
1Corinthians1 the Cross is wisdom but for the world its foolishness.
JESUS alone can give us wisdom to solve our problems. We depend on natural logic and wisdom. But JESUS says come to me. When you come to me for wisdom you also get understanding.
John 15:5 without me you can do nothing.
Abraham left his comfort zone (his home) and steps into the realm of the unknown. Every time he built an altar he gained wisdom for a specific situation. Every time he didn't he failed.
Something that has been well prayed over will never bring regret.
Abraham sent his servant to find a wife for Isaac. He searches for a wise woman and not a beautiful, rich woman.
The WORD has a solution for my life. I can go to Godly people and get their advice. But only GOD has the answers. I get wisdom from HIS Word and understanding through prayer.

In 1king3: Solomon asked GOD for wisdom and nt for precious things.
So GOD gv him wisdom + precious things.
The moment he forsook wisdom his life went downhill.
In Eccl 3 Solomon never mentions there should be a time to read the Word n nt to read the Word.
1Pet3:18 Grow in the grace and knowledge of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
You can't even compare wisdom with gold & silver.
I can get all the knowledge but GOD gives wisdom & HE gives understanding.
You can't get wisdom at a seminar. It can only be gained in GOD's presence.

In Philippians 3:4,8 I count all these things dung
When Paul had knowledge, he could persecute Christians but when he found wisdom & grace he could tell everyone that JESUS is the only way. And he could now count the name, power, position is dung so that he may gain Christ.
All those things in the world that you think could give me and you happiness and satisfaction is actually nothing compared to the grace & wisdom that comes from knowing CHRIST...

Moses hard life leading the Israelites through the wilderness. The rich experience that GOD would take a murderer like me and use me to perform one the biggest miracle, and write the Pentateuch. May be no one knows where my grave is but I'm standing with JESUS in the NT!!!
The natural man sees what Christianity takes away from life but he cannot see what it adds...
Moses was the meekest man and thats why he was lifted up at the Mount of Transfiguration.

2 Chronicles 20 the praise band goes before the army. the result - They win the battle!

Can wisdom always lead to peace ?
Rom 8:7-8 the carnal mind is enmity to GOD and cant please GOD.
Heb 11:26 considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking to the reward.
Even in the prisons the apostles were in perfect peace. How ? We don't know. But with GOD's wisdom this happens... this is normal with GODly wisdom!
Even when I have trials on every side I hv grace on every side... this revelation comes from GODly wisdom.
In I Samuel 30 David recovers everything.
How does that happen ?
David's men want to stone him. They go back to recover. They get the victory. Lost, rejected, tired yet they win the victory !
In I Sam1 Hannah despised because she doesn't have a child. GOD remembers her. She got a child and gave him back to GOD. GOD gave her 5 more. A woman with no child gets 6!
Jacob loves Rachel. 14 yrs I'll work for you. Judah comes from Leah. Unloved by her husband but loved by GOD.

You lose a good life but you inherit a great life by holding fast to HIS wisdom.
Mt 14 Disciples have peace in the midst of storm.
JESUS CHRIST crucified on the Tree making it the Tree of Life.
Our lives are of no profit without CHRIST.
All the Scripture fulfilled in HIM alone. HE says I will guide you, I will guard you, I will shield you, I will strengthen you, I will give you wisdom, I will satisfy you, I will answer you, I will love you, I will never leave you nor forsake you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand, I will give you the desires of your heart.
Cannot be substituted with anything else in the world - Nothing !!!
